Booking with 30A Boat Valet
By booking with us; you acknowledge agree that you are legally referred to as the Charterer and Primary Guest under Bareboat Recreational Law and regulations, whereby you legally take ownership of the vessel for the term of your booking. See our FAQ page for further info.
Your Captain
Procedure for Charterers Hiring Your Captain
As the Charterer and Primary Guest, you must have the choice of captain and or crew for your charter. We are allowed to provide a list of captains that we approve of for you to hire as your captain for your charter. You need to hire your captain before booking. After you hire your captain, you will see their name in the booking process. Just select it to proceed.
**NOTE: If you DO NOT FIRST contact the captain you select to hire you will not have a captain for your booking. There are NO refunds if you are not able to go on the Luxury Cruise in this case as we are a Captained ONLY charter. You MUST contact the captain for availability PRIOR to selecting them on your booking.**
Recommended instructions for hiring your captain:
Step 1:
Go through the list and contact the captains to see who is available for your charter. Normal procedure is they will require you to pay a 50% non refundable deposit via Venmo or Cashapp usually to engage them and the remaining balance due before getting on the boat.
Step 2:
Time to book your Luxury Cruise.
During the booking process here on the website (click/tap “Book Today” in Red) you will see the list of captains again, just checkbox the name of the captain you hired. This simply shows us who is on the boat.
Fuel Charge
You will select “Save” during the booking process to prepay fuel at an allotted amount. If more fuel is used than the allotted amount, you will be charged via card on file for the additional amount at $6.50/gal after it is refilled.
Luxury Cruise Rules
- Up to 10 people plus captain allowed aboard (unless “11th Person” is added for $97 during booking process)
- Sunscreen application is prohibited inside the cabin. Application on the outside decks and off the boats ONLY.
- If additional cleaning is required post cruise due to lotions, food, beverage, or anything that can leave messes and residue; your card on file will be charged a deep cleaning fee of $250-$500.
- Alcohol/Drug Intoxication Or Over Serving Oneself Is NOT Tolerated Onboard And Is Grounds For Booking Termination At Captains Sole Discretion
- No Smoking/Vaping Onboard
- No diving off the boat
- If you are 15 Minutes late you will be charged a $50 late fee. After the initial 15 minutes you will be charged $100 per additional 15 minutes late.
No Shows
If you are no show, we will cancel your booking with no refund. Additionally, your card on file will be charged a fee equal to the captain fee in order to pay the captain for his time.
Cancellation Policy
ALL Bookings are NONE refundable ACCEPT when you add Peek Protect.
All Bookings for our boat charter rentals are paid in full when booked and are NONE refundable. Boats will be on the water rain or shine. Pop up storms and rain showers are common here. If US Coast Guard issues a small craft advisory, you can reschedule, cancel (no refunds), or get a rain check in the form of a store credit.
We offer booking insurance (like travel insurance) which means that for a small fee you can protect the boat portion of the charter rental cost. Just select Peek Protect during the checkout process to add this coverage. This coverage is NOT provided by 30A Boat Valet. With Peek Protect, you can cancel at any time prior to the booking date and receive a 100% refund of the boat charter rental cost. This coverage is provided by Spot Insurance.
If you need to cancel your boat charter rental, find your Peek Protect email confirmation which is in addition to the confirmation you received from 30A Boat Valet. Find this confirmation and follow instructions to cancel and receive your refund.
We can reschedule up to 72 hours prior to the cruise date as long as dates and times are available.
Inclement Weather Policy
Florida is known for pop up rain and small short lived storms that come and go; you will not be refunded for cancellations made due to rain or storms that occur while you are on the water or rain in a forecast that is over 72 hours prior to your departure date. Bad weather, defined as severe and resulting in a small craft advisory issued for the Bay by US Coast Guard do to lightning and or high winds (25 mph or higher); you can reschedule the booking, cancel, or request a store credit. No refunds will be issued unless you have purchased Peek Protect with your boat charter rental.
We now offer booking insurance (like travel insurance) which means that for a small fee you can protect the boat portion of the charter rental cost. Just select Peek Protect during the checkout process to add this coverage. This coverage is NOT provided by 30A Boat Valet. With Peek Protect, you can cancel at any time prior to the booking date and receive a 100% refund of the boat charter rental cost. This coverage is provided by Spot Insurance.
